This dataset includes Import Price Indexes by Locality of Origin, with a base year 2000=100; unless France, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Pacific Rim, China, ASEAN and Asia Near East with a base year 2003=100; Mexico nonmanufacturing and manufacturing base year 2008=100; and Taiwan base year 2018=100. Industrialized Countries include Western Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Latin America includes Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Pacific Rim includes China, Japan, Australia, Brunei, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, and the Asian Newly Industrialized Countries. Asian NICs includes Asian Newly Industrialized Countries - Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. ASEAN includes Association of Southeast Asian Nations - Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Asia Near East includes Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Data may be revised within three months following its original publication by the BLS. This dataset corresponds to the information presented in Table 7 of the U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes.
