This dataset includes monthly economix activity index. (IDEA) published by CENSUS. The U.S. Census Bureau's Index of Economic Activity (IDEA) consolidates 15 key economic data series into a single indicator, calculated as a weighted average. It applies principal components analysis (PCA) to the rescaled monthly growth rates of seasonally adjusted series, standardized to have a mean of zero and variance of one.
